Yeah, I'm familiar with Jensen; I make it my business to be familiar with television in general. I saw him on Smallville reruns back when I used to get ABC Family, and Jared Padalecki was, of course, the original 'Dean' back on Gilmore Girls. He was my favorite boyfriend of hers, sigh. Good! They're both good actors to be familiar with. I never got to see Jensen in Smallville, but made a point to watch Jared in Gilmore Girls, just because he's Jared. Watched Cheaper by the Dozen for his five-liner part too It's awesome that both Jensen and Jared got their own show though, they really deserve it. Plus they've got great chemistry as brothers. Wait, 'original' Dean? What, does that mean they re-cast him? I never watched a lot of Gilmore Girls, but Dean was definitely the best guy she ever went for. She even picked him over Chad Michael Murray, that has to say something good about her taste in guys. Dude, that's not gushing! I pretty much agree with everything you said...Kari was always my favorite too, and I was so rooting for her and TK to get together after the show like Yolei and Ken did. I forgot all about Angemon and Angewomon shooting Matt and Tai...that was a great episode, seriously. Did you catch the second season episode where Kari went to the whole 'dark world' thing and TK went to rescue her? LOVE that episode... Gah...have GOT to stop the rambling. Anyways, point is, it always was a good show. Did you catch the third and fourth season at all? I really like the fourth and the third wasn't too bad. *sticks out tongue* It did not!

lol, no, they didn't recast him; I was just talking about how Jared was Dean on Gilmore Girls and then Jensen was Dean on Supernatural.
I so wanted Rory to end up with Dean, and not ... Logan. Well, she didn't end up with Logan I believe, but still. She totally trampled over Dean's marriage to Lindsay and then afterwards just let their relationship fall apart. I don't have that much against Logan, but I thought Dean and even Jess were better for her than him.
I really didn't catch much of Digimon after the cast changed. That just broke my heart that they could just change everything like that. I don't have anything against the latter seasons quality-wise, but ... I don't know. Nothing compares to the first season. I emotionally checked out after they defeated Apocalymon.

It so did. The third season with the Digimon in the real world was CRAP! The first two were better.

Did you catch the second season episode where Kari went to the whole 'dark world' thing and TK went to rescue her? LOVE that episode... *sticks out tongue* It did not! I liked the dark world plot too. I, though, loved Ken and his angsty megalomaniac subplot far too much to want him with Yolei. That irritated me to no end. Like someone said about Gatomon etc.; Digimon actually had complicated plots, not "save the Pokemon the same way each episode but with different settings and minor characters". I don't want to bash Pokemon, but I think it's for a different age level. I liked the third season because of, as I said, the interaction with the real world. Guilmon was cool looking...that one they did well with tying it into the "show", the first two seasons--though I still don't understand why they switched casts every season, except maybe that they had to have a younger set each time and, as we've seen with Tai etc., the kids do grow up. The fourth one had its merits (*coughKojicough*)but I extremely disliked how they dind't have partners--it took such a dynamic out of it--and how it did not tie in at all with the former ones. There is a fifth season out in Japan, which you can watch on YouTube. It's more like the third than anything else, but again, completely different. *subject change* One of the few things I know about Supernatural is that the director is a fan of Star Wars and he puts SW in-jokes in there, like the brothers using the actors' names as codenames in one episode.

lol, no, they didn't recast him; I was just talking about how Jared was Dean on Gilmore Girls and then Jensen was Dean on Supernatural. Gotcha ;D Yeah, that was a little on the ironic side...And just think how odd it would've been if they had the same actors in Supernatural, but switched. Jensen originally went for the what is now Jared's role, Sam Winchester, and so if Jared had been cast as Dean Winchester instead...Dean overload. Whoa, Dean was MARRIED? I'd say it's better for Rory to have moved on, because if they kept the character of Dean around, Jared might never have moved on to Supernatural, and while we might not know the difference, it would still be quite different. If that makes sense. Yeah, they did seem to move on pretty easily, didn't they? It probably has to do with the first season being the 'classic' and 'original' season. Apocalymon was like the season finale, right? The episode with him, I mean. Oh, I agree. Yolei was just a twit. Like she could handle him and his angst anyways They had like THREE kids too! Just kind of a gross thought I think that had something to do with them wanting to go a new direction every new season, and so they needed a new cast. I mean, Seasons 3 and 4 are like in a completely different world almost. I know it's all set in Japan, but it seemed like it was different universes still. YES! There ARE other Koji fans out there! He's one of the best characters to ever live in the Digimon universe, and doesn't get the recognition because hardly anyone watched Season 4 in America! I remember that! It was awesome ;D

Dean got married, and then cheated with Rory. Who knew he had a naughty side?
I think it's a good thing Jensen got the Dean Winchester role, 'cause I don't think Jared could pull it off. From what I've seen, he's much too ... white-bread. I think Jensen has more range.
Yes, the defeat of Apocalymon was the first season finale. Sigh, the good old days.

Dude...how old was he in the show, anyways? He dated Rory when she was in high school, right? So...that's kind of creepy... Well, I s'pose, if you want to see it that way. Both of them seem like they were made to play the Winchesters that they portray though, for sure. Jensen pulls off the 'cocky arrogant' guy better than Jared would just as Jared pulls off the 'angsty puppy' guy thing better than Jensen. Both of them have had bad moments even in Supernatural though, that's for sure For being tough guys, they sure do tear up an awful lot.

He was in high school when she was in high school too; they met right after she started going to Chilton, and he said he'd remembered seeing her for a short while at school right after he moved to Stars Hollow, so he's not much older than her if he is older than her. When he cheated on his wife, she was in college. *nods* Yes, I watch Gilmore Girls reruns on ABC Family every day after school.
