OK, fine, they USED to be wonky - but I'm a special case of someone who had baby teeth with no adult teeth behind them, so I needed braces to close the gaps.

No, no, three of my baby teeth didn't have adult teeth behind them. The rest are normal. Sorry, I should have been clearer.

You're like the opposite of my sis. Her adult teeth started growing in before her baby teeth fell out, so the dentist had to yank out all four of the front teeth in the top row to make room for her new ones.
