Holy freaking 18 hour van ride batman! Good to be home. Though, I did click with a bunch of people really fast. I'm tired, but I'll fill you all in more of my week later.

Alright I'll do day one first, or what I remember of it. Had to get up and do last minute packing, as well as get around for church, cause we were leaving right from church. Mass confusion when i got to church, couldn;t find the trailer to put my stuff in. Found out that Seth, the guy I have a crush on from my church, was going and BJ, the youth group leader, had me sit next to him (cause I didn't really know anybody) and he had sat next to Ethan (Seth's older brother) so I was next to Seth. After that I found out that somebody from my school who had recently graduated and I thought I would never see him again was also going to NY as a last minute thing cause the band needed a drummer and nobody knew I was one (Jade, remember George? Thats who went). Georgie-boy (thats his nickname now, and its fun to say in a weird voice we all picked up ) and I suprised BJ by telling him we knew each other. We had lunch at church, and then had to get our van arrangements. 2 twelve seater vans and one pickup truck that pulled our trailer were our transportation devices for the trip. We were assigned vans, I was in a van with BJ, and his wife Beth as the adults in our van. Ethan, Seth, and their little sister Danielle were also in my van as well as Georgie-boy, Amber, Derek, Sam, and Hannah. We spent 12 hours in the van travelling that day, got to bed in a hotel around 1 am. I actually came out of my shell relatively quickly, was actually talking, laughing and goofing off the first day. I most remember about that day was Ethan video-taping most of it, Sam and Derek messing with Beths laptop, later on the two fighting over candy (actually wrestling, and I was sitting next to them. I moved up a seat. Nobody was buckled in but the front seat people [Beth and BJ] BTW) and me getting to know people and having fun.

Yup, exactly. And he's not the BEST photographer, but he was having fun. And hey, nobody wants to get on the massage therapists(sp?) bad side, now do we? I'll tell my day 2 tomorrow, when I feel less like I'm going to fall over. And then I may post more pics.

LMAO! I love it e-band!
Anyways, heres day 2.
My room at the hotel, which consisted of myself, Hannah, Danielle, and Amber, was up about an hour before anybody else. Suprisingly, the next group up was Seth, George and Ethan. The rest of the week those guys all were late to breakfast cause they slept in. Or something. Anyways, We left the hotel around 9-10ish in the morning. The van ride was interesting, least what I remember of it was. I remember using Seth for a pillow during the first few hours of the van ride (he's a really comfy pillow) and later on jamming with Ethan, Seth, and George (Ethan had a splitter, so 4 of us each had an ear bud and we were listening to either Seth's or Ethan's mp3 player) and after that, having a mini pillow fight with Seth. But I only had a small travelling pillow, and he had his normal pillow, so he won cause I had a smaller pillow. We spent 4 hours in NYC due to traffic.
Arrived at the ranch around 6-7ish in the evening, when we were supposed to get there around 2-3ish. We had dinner in the conference room of the admin building, NY style pizza (seemed to be made purely from grease[sp?] but it tasted like pizza...) discovered a very nice rule; ladys first for food. After that, we met some of the boys staying there at the ranch, and our guide of sorts, Chrissie, told us that that had never happened before, so they were excited to meet us. For our Devo (means devotional) that night, we just went to the pavillion area (walless tents and a single building that also had no walls, just poles to support the roof) and we, at first, sat as a group in the rocking chairs in the building. We prayed as a group, and then we were to go off in pairs or groups of 3 and pray as small groups. Since I didn't know anybody and I'm really shy (most likely the shyest that went on that group), I sat there as people grouped together. Seth (mind you, I have a crush on him) came up to me and asked me if I wanted to group with him. We went and sat in the grass, and prayed together, then looked up at the stars for a few (much too short in my opinion) moments before Ethan and George came over to us. We goofed off until everybody was done, then it was time for the girls to head over to the hospitality house and get situated. The boys were stuck in the admin building basement. Us girls had 3 showers to 10 girls. The boys had 1 shower to 15 guys.
I'll post pics tomorrow.

Cool stuff. Sucks about the showers though. I have some funny pics from band camp. It was so fun this year. ;D I'll have them up sometime in the near future.

Being stuck in traffic would've sucked if you didn't have nice people with you.

Well, we were in a ranch place, the people who run the place need somewhere to stay, don't they? We just took guest rooms, and kelly and I had the only actual bedroom cause Kelly had senority over everybody and I was in her group of people to choose to room with, and Amber didn't want to have to go upstairs every day.
