Well, it was Year 6 Geography (I was 11 at the time), and we were doing rivers and how they're layed out and things like that. We each had to research a river and describe whatever it was we had to describe or whatever, and I chose the Mississippi.

I don't know how or why, but I usually get pretty involved in my schoolwork, no matter what class it's for. History in general does bore me the way it is generally taught to students, but I still put a lot of effort into researching essays and stuff about it because that's much more interesting than a dry textbook. *semi-random moment terminated*
