I doubt that Internet one was really recorded, it seems more like an amateur... Anyway, in this context my first thought about unicorns was of the ki-lin,a creature I read about in a nonfiction-type book all about unicorns. The ki-lin is the Chinese version of this myth, and it looks like a large black or brown wolf with a single, unspiraled, red or black horn. They have power to heal, are very strong and lithe, and will be loyal to one person I believe, though the ki-lin itself is immortal. It would be interesting to do a story about this aspect of the legend, though my tangent thus may not be what you want.

I'll agree I had never heard of him but decided to do some research on him. turns out he toured basically the whole of the known world recording nature
