The truck stopped at the gate to an enclosed mansion. Adeiz turned back to Rinka. "Senator Naythean's house? You work for him?" The gates opened and they were moving again. "My boss is bigger than Naythean. But Naythean is the one who wants to help you." Rinka jumped off the truck as it slowed down, and dropped the tailgate for Adeiz, who followed Rinka's example instead of stepping off the end. The truck drove away.
Rinka took the steps two at a time, and rang the bell. Adeiz gazed around. The grass was immaculate, with several war statues in rigid poses. Adeiz had served under Naythean command in Iran but the man had not gotten his vote. Naythean had been a general, turned to politics in the belief that the military needed a remake. He was known in the military for getting the job done, and leaving a lot of corpses behind.
The door opened, and stepped inside. Adeiz followed, wondering what else was in store for him tonight, and even worrying a little about the two girls. You're crazy! Stick with your own kind.

Why am I even following this kid? The vampire asked herself, as her ragged wings flapped as she soared through the night sky. Who cares.. I'm in enough trouble anyway, I'll die either way. Eh... Might as well add a little excitement to my life.
She felt a pull towards the more rural side of the city, and she followed her instinct, slowly descending. The pull grew stronger, as she neared the more upstreet place of town, and she soon came to a row of immaculately kept gardens, with equally large and mainstream houses looming up in front of them.
But it was the mansion that by far outsmarted the lot of them. Curiosity and Instinct overriding fear, the bird fluttered down towards the ground, and hid behind a number of large statues, while craning her small head to survey her surroundings.
CCTV cameras encircled the whole place, and mortals with rifles were lurking in the door way.
What kind of guy is he? She thought to herself, in bewilderment. I like a challenge. And I guess now is the time to put those tricks the elders taught me into practice.
-----
Somewhere inside the huge building, a security guard was slumped in a chair, his feet propped up on an oaken desk, with dozens of video moniters placed on the wall in front of him. A gun was slung across his lap, and he looked lazily at the images which flickered on the screens.
Nothing was happening, and he could feel himself dozing off in his chair. Only two more hours to go before my shift ends...
Suddenly, a small amount of movement from part 2 of the sculpture area caught his eye. Just a stupid crow. And then, after perching on one of the statues, it disappeared. Vanished into thin air.
The guard shook his head. Perhaps the cameras where malfunctioning. Or maybe it was him. Just imagining the usual crazy stuff.
I really need a cup o' coffee...

Adeiz followed Rinka up a long stairwell, and into a room. A fire was blazing in the hearth and sitting in a wooden chair was Naythean. The ex general quickly got up and offered his hand to Adeiz. The man was 50-ish but still in good shape. Adeiz took the offered hand and they shook. Naythean gestured to a platter from which delicious aroma's were wafting. "You must be hungry boy, eat."
Adeiz suddenly realized that he was starved. "Thank you sir." He sat down, but hesitated from taking the food. Should I eat it? Naythean laughed and ordered Rinka to join in the meal. Assured, Adeiz began eating.
"Adeiz, I wished to see you because I know you have had contact from the less savory type of creature on this planet."
Adeiz finished the mouthful. "What are you talking about?"
Naythean leaned forward. "Do you like the wine?"
"Yes sir, it is very tasteful."
"That is of what I speak. You've changed Adeiz."
Adeiz shoved the table away sending the food crashing to the floor. The rug was stained with blood from a cup. The cup Adeiz had been drinking from, and relishing.

(Woah... mega twist - and quite disturbing ;D)
The Shadow crept up the stairs, and passed straight through the solid heavy door, unseen by any mortal. Convinced and reassured, she slipped through walls, until she heard a sound of tinkling glass, muffled by something soft, she assumed was a carpet.
She continued towards the source of the noise, when all of a sudden, she felt something bind around her neck, choking her. Raven's invisible hands flew up to her throat, where she felt someone else's hands, their grip tightening ever more so.
"Well now, what a pretty neck we have here..." purred the rasping voice in her ear. "You've done a pretty bad job of concealing yourself, my love." It purred, "And I'm quite disgusted at your usual feeble attempt at conferring with mortals, and letting it go unseen."
The girl let out a gasp as the oxygen supplied to her brain was slowly cut off, and all the while growing dizzier, and fainter....
And then everything went black.

"why does everyone try to take matters into their own hands…" Farishda thought to herself, "i know alot more about the world than everyone thinks! maybe i should age myself a bit… so they don't mistake me for being such a child." she looked down at herself, in the blood drinkers kitchen, she twirled round. "nah… I like me like this." she felt the two auras fading away from her fast- but she knew where they were headed. she had known of rinka for a very long time- though never who she sereved. she changed sides often enough. she looked up to the cieling, almost asking for help from something divine. wether bad or good. 'why am i gtting invovled in this any way?!' she questioned herself, 'oh yeah… sodding it satan blah blah blah. and i cnt let raven and adeiz get hurt. if rinka wants adeiz- he's something important.' she let her human guise fall away from her body, so she took the shape of an almost cattish humanoid creature. with her impossibly blood read pupils and blacker than soot eyes, her lithe, dark red body and long catlike arrow ended tail- she was completely invisable to humans. semi- or otherwise. the next moment- she was close by to where she could feel where raven and adeiz where. both raven and adeiz where in danger… she just wasn't sure how. swollowing hard, she looked around where she was. the cieling was high, and the corridor long and wide. it looked vaguely familliar. she just wasn't sure how. frowning, she took to her human shape again- it was easier to move as a human. her demonic shape had become more and more uncomfortable the longer she was away from hell. "who goes there!" snapped a curt voice from behind her. Farishda almost laughed. did these humans honestly think that saying that would work. but as she turned round- she came face to face with a fallen angel, a litteral fallen- not a banished- trying to pass himself as a human. but his golden eyes gave him away. "since when did senator Naythean deal with our kind!" she thought aloud to herself. the fallen frowned. "who are you and what do you want?" a semi seductive semi evil smile appeared on her aristicratic face. "my dear angel," she said, transporting herself to his side, just behind him, she ran a long finger down his cheek, "my name is Farishda…" the angel gasped- he had obviously heard of her, "and what I want?" she put her delicate hand on the back of his head, and allowed a very strong knock out spell to coarse through her skin to his body, "is for you to sleep." the angel colapsed to the ground. farishda grinned to herself, and trussed him up, and hide him in a darkened corner of the room. she dusted her hands off. "and now to see what REALLY is going on here…" she stalked off down the hall- not making even a whisper of a sound… (hows tht? )

(semi yes, and semi no. I kinda don't want Raven always being the maiden in distress, and it's not a shadow who caught her, it's kind of a cliff hanger. I intentioned for it to be Hunter, but left a massive personality gap open, letting things flow without Identifying it yet. And she turned into a shadow, when she was seeking out Adeiz. Could you make it Farishda's priority to find Adeiz, and not do anything but effectively spy on him - but you can't interrupt etc. At least I don't think - You'll have to confer with Den. Aww I feel really mean now, but Raven's going to be in peril for a bit longer, and it's not going to be nice what happens to her, if you catch my drift Sorry Broky.. *hugs and hands a cookie*)

Shaking, Adeiz stood up. "Sir, speak plainly with me. Why am I here?"
Naythean was grinning slightly. "Because you are not alone. All vampires have clans. Soon you will be called. And you will have to become one of the clan."
"What happens if I refuse?"
"They change your mind in nasty ways, or perhaps kill you. It will depend on how powerful they think you could become."
"And your advice is?"
Naythean got up and began pacing. "I advice you to become part of a different clan. One that I can help you join."
Adeiz looked at Rinka and back at Naythean. "Then you are Vampires?"
Naythean smirked. "No, not I."
Rinka cut in. "There are several unknown creatures approuching. Not all of them are Vampire either. I think that Demon girl might be coming back."
Naythean grimaced. "Then I shall be leaving. We have nobody here that can match her power. Adeiz, try not to burn yourself. I don't know what the creatures want with you, but the Vampire you encountered left several pretty men in dumpsters. I hope to see you soon." And opening a hidden door, Naythean left the room.
Rinka sighed. "Let's go meet your new friends."

Raven's eyes snapped open, to reveal a dingy and damp room, with high concrete walls, and a dusty bulb hanging procariously on several fraying wires, half illuminating the room.
Her hands and ankles were bound tight with rope that cut into her flesh, and a dirty rag had been gagged through her mouth. The vampire gasped as an overwhelming sense of dizzyness and nausea washed through her.
And a sickening thought crept into her mind. I'm going to die, right here, anytime now.
The unearthly creatures may own a large amount of advantage points over the rest of the mortal race, but in no way were they perfect, or invincible. In fact, the complete opposite. What they lacked in emotions, was made up for in the sheer strength, but pain could still be felt, even with the vampire with the heart as cold as stone.
Pain rocketed through Raven's body again, causing her to moan out in pain.
There was a clunking, as some keys were thrust through the door, and the vampire shut her eyes, waiting for the intruder to show themself to her.

Farishda looked around where she was in great interest. This senators place was pretty. Good place to look around. So many interesting artifacts. Most 'underworldy'. She chuckled at her self made word. She knew it would never catch on. But it was the only way to describe where she was. people may have passed up these objects as simple trinkets, a beautiful, exotic necklace, a tiny intracate box, a painting of a noble looking man, a statue of a gorgeous woman… all fairly everyday things. If not rather unusual- though how unusual would not be so obvious to the usually unobservant human race. She recognised the self proclaimed queen of the damned- a delusional vampire who considered herself better than all. The box as a token from satan to one of his follows hundreds of years previously. The man was an infamous werewolf, hundreds of years old... yet he never aged at all. the tsatue of the woman however- she hadn't seen before. and she did not plan on finding out what it was for or how senator Nythean came to get it. Farishda didn't like the feel of the place. it was dark, like it had somethin to hide. dingey too, though supposedly open. she could practically sink her teeth into the thick air about her is was so full of mystery and lies. the longer she stayed there. the more she hated. the more she knew she had to get both adeiz and raven out of there. but that was when it hit her- raven was no longer in the building. she could feel her aura anywhere in the world! like she had vanished. a sob caught in the demons throat, till she calmed down, telling herself it was a simple shielding charm. simple. but strong and effective. she wasn't about to find the blood drinker any time soon. taking a deep breath she concentrated on adeiz, she'd get him back, put him in the wrold where he belonged and get back raven. shouldn't have been too hard for a demon. yet the fates seemed to be working against her for the first time in farishda's endless life.

Rinka left the room. Adeiz stood alone, pondering. He heard a scuffle in the hallway.
