Ash snickered as Lucky fell, she could see right through her. As could Jack, if that was actually him. And, was he watching them? Still feeling relatively high from her raid, she stretched, carefully showing the bracelet on her left arm that was a gift from Bill to her before Bill found out his girlfriend of back 'home' was pregnant. It was one way the group used to detect Ash was actually Ash when she was in disguise. A glint shown throguh the darkness of under the mans cloaks hood.
This was the life. And now Jack had come to join them?

Lucky swore black and blue as she got up again. "it is him," she muttered angrily, "well 'e nos we c'n see thru 'im... y dusn' 'e gt 'is butt ovr 'ere." she scowled, stood up and sat on the table, a booted foot on the chair. the bartender attempted to yell at her to sit on the chair, but one glance over her shoulder with her eyes like ice was enough to keep him quiet and away frm her.
she stared hard at Jack. as he shifted uncomfortably under her eyes, she knew it was him. his dreadlocks were unmistakable, as were the beads threaded into his hair and his neumerous rings. it was deffinetly him. even if he tried to hide his hair and trinkets under his favourite hat. his shakey way of sitting was unmistakeable too.
Lucky for some reason felt like crying. seein him usually meant tht bootstrap and barbossa were near by. bt nw bill was… bill had left them and barbossa and jack were no longr really on talking terms- it meant it wasnt like that any more. the group was split. but at least if the girls got jack back, their pirating days would b looking up. life with jack would always b an adventure.
"shud we speak 2 him?" asked Lucky, finishing her rum with a final gulp. just as the door flew open and a young lady dressed in an old, but beautiful red, black and gold dress, a shawl over her shoulders walked into the pub. all eyes were immediately on her, even if the loudness of the pub continued.
now Lucky was very much a girl who liked men, and was by no means a woman who chased those of her name sex. but even her mouth dropped open at the sight of this new person coming inside with the dress. she knew she deffinetly looked like a young pirate male, she also knew if she looked Jack would have finished laughing at her and would b staring at the woman in red, black and gold.
"who the f**k is she?" asked Lucky, she could have sworn she had seen the new girl somewhere before.

Emily noticed that the whole pub went silent when she entered. She took a minute to collect herself, and then, realizing that it was probably because she was carrying two large kegs of rum under her arms, proceeded to the kitchen, trying not to return anyone's stares.
"Oy, Emily! Been a loong time, eh? Wasn't 'specting you tonight and soo soon. You know zee orders aren't due fur ano zer 3 days or soo."
"I know, Francois. I've just had absolutley NOTHING to do today, and I needed a drink anyway."
The Pub's cook came over and put a thoughtful hand on her shoulder. "Ah, I see. Fone of zose days again, eh? Fell don't sweat it. You are alfays felcome in to my kitchen and you are alfays felcome to enjoy zee place as loong as you like, oui?"
Emily smiled at her friend. "Thanks Francois."
She was about to thank him again, when they were intterupted by a loud booming voice from the next room over. "Hey! Swa! We need 3 bottles of the Culliford rum at table 3!"
Francois laughed and winked at Emily. "Looks like zee orders are already comink een. You know zat your rum is always poular here, Emily."
Emily laughed and winked. "Secret family recipe, mate."
Then a thought dawned on Francois. "Say, Emily, would you like to deliver zee rum yourself? Zee place is packed tonight and I'm sure the crowd would prefer to have a beautiful young girl deliver the sweet drink zen a fat sweaty cook like myself, eh?"
Emily laughed and told her friend. "Consider it done, mon capitan."
She took three bottles of her family's rum out of the crate she cad carried in, and ventured back out into the pub, in a much better mood. She smiled at a group of drunken sailors at a nearby table, drooling and falling alll over themselves. Emily shook her head. "Poor b@stards." she laughed. Emily scanned the room for table 3, and once she found it, placed the bottles on the table. "I hope you enjoy your rum fresh, mate. Tis the finest rum in the Carribbean."
Emily was about to turn back and head to the kitchen, when a hand grabbed her wrist. Emily let out a slight cry, and turned to find the man sitting at the table grasping her wrist. He was a strange looking man, he had long dark dreadlocks, beads weaved in with his locks of hair, thick eyeliner, and a red scarf tied around his forhead. He gazed deep into her eyes, and she back into his, noticing that they seemed to go on and on like an endless brown vortex. This man had seen much in his life. "Let go, you drunken git!" She cried, trying to slap his hand away, but his grip only tightened.
"You look absolutley stunning tonight, my lady." he said, flashing her a sly grin. "Won't you join me for a few drinks, eh? The company would be enjoyed heavily."
Emily was about to smack his hand away and return to the kitchen, when thought dawned on her. "This fellow... looks like he could be a pirate... perhaps even a famous one at that. Maybe... I'll listen to him for a bit and try to pick out who he is." She smiled. "Besides, she had nothing better to do, and he was probably on the brink of passing out drunk anyway. Rum did that to you." Emily decided to listen to him for a bit untill either he passed out, or made an unneccasary move on her part. She laughed, looking at how patheticly drunk he was. This could even be fun.
"Allright, mate. Tell me your tales." she said, pulling up a chair.
The man grinned at her and told her, "Have you not heard the tales already, miss?"
She raised an eyebrow at him, and replyed, "Do tell."
He gave her a saucy wink, and bowed slightly, "I'm Captain Jack Sparrow."
Emily froze. Was this man telling the truth? Could he really be the famous pirate that William had written to her about? The infamous captain of the Black Pearl? He had to be. He looked exactly as William had described him. The hair, the beads, the eyeliner... She didn't know what to say or do. If he was indeed who he said he was, then this could be her chance. He could take her to William, and maybe he could teach her all she needed to know about the sea and it's tricks. Who better to learn from then the man who spent time in Davy Jones' Locker itself and came out unscathed. She was bursting with exitement. She had so much to tell him... but was now the time. He was still drunk, she noted, and he probably wouldn't understand or remember a word that had been said. She frowned. This was going to be harder than she thought.
Emily was about to tell him that she knew William and of their exploits together, but then out of the corner of her eye, she saw something that distracted her from that. A few tables away, sat two women, one of them eying her feircly, the way an assasin eyes it's victim. Whoever this woman was... did not want her talking to Jack.
"Tough sh*t," thought Emily. "It's time for me to escape this life and go to sea like I was born to do. As far as I see it, Jacks the only one who can do that and I'm not missing an oppertunity like this now!"
"Say Jack, do you know a man named William Turner?"
This caught his intrest. "Do tell, love." he asked her, leaning in to tune out the pub noise.

The second Jack grabbed the woman's arm, and began talking, Ash's ears perked up.
"'Ey, Luck, 'ou 'ear that? It's 'r Jackie-boy oe're there. I say its 'bout time we paid him a visit, don'cha agree?" Ash drawled, with a grin.
The two girls took their drinks and headed over to the table, Ash in the lead. She plopped herself down at the table, right next to the girl.
"Say Jack, do you know a man named William Turner?" she asked
This caught his intrest. "Do tell, love." he asked her, leaning in to tune out the pub noise.
"William Turner, eh? Us THREE could tell ya many stories 'bout 'is father. Boot-strap Bill was a good man. And Jack, its been a long time." Ash had that familiar glint in her eye once again.
Something was telling her they were about to embark on another one of a kind adventure.
(sorry so short, don;t have much time.)

(lol, no prob)
Emily looked at the women, then at Jack. These three knew each other somehow, and according to them, she was just an unwanted intruder. An outsider. (and maybe she was) but it wasn't going to stop her from convincing Jack to take her to sea. Who knew? Maybe these women could help her as well. Emily turned to the woman who had just spoken. "So... how do you know Jack? Are... you a pirate yourself?"
The woman glanced down at Emily, her eyes having a particular shine. "Oy, you 'ave a bit o' observancy about ya, lass. Sure, I'm a pirate." she said. "Tis the only life I know, really."
This was golden! Emily finally met a female pirate. She had heard stories of Anne Bonny and Mary Read from her father, but she knew that they operated in an entirely different region, and she wasn't sure if there were any others. She wanted to know this woman better and what she had to offer. She was for sure a powerful woman and she knew Jack. Questions were spinning wround in her head, but she collected herself and asked her again,
"So what's the story between you and Jack?"
The woman'seyes flashed down again. "I don't see 'ow thats any of yer buisness. What of you then? How do YOU know Jack?"
Emily glanced sideways at Jack, then told her: "Well... I don't... directly."
The woman, now becoming interested, sat down next to Emily. "Explain..."
"Well, I... my family owns a brewery just a few blocks from here. When William Turner, and I assume you know him because you obviously know his father, was a blacksmith here a while back, we became friends and he taught me how to swordfight. We talked alot about various sea-related things, and once William joined Jack on the Pearl, he continued to inform me about his adventures and the people he met through a series of letters that he sent to me."
The woman nodded. "Will has a history of doin' that. Teaching women to swordfight an' all." she smiled.
Emily grinned and continued. "I recognized Jack from Will's discription in the letters. I thought that maybe... he..."
"He what, lass?"
"It's just... I... ever since I can remember, I've always dreamed of joining my uncle Robert someday. I've always wanted to be a pirate like him... but so far, I don't have a boat, the cash or... the nerve." Emily hung her head. "It must sound pathetic and weepy to experianced pirates like you."
the woman rolled her eyes. "Ah, don't be gettin' all dramatized with us, lass. Just tell us why you're hesitant to go out to sea."
"Well... when I was around 5 years old, my father took me out on his fishing boat in the open ocean for the first time, and it was like falling in love. The open water was so majestic and untamed, I felt something inside me tell me that this is what I was born for, and I belived it. Then... there was an accident... and I've been afraid to go out to open waters alone since."
The woman laughed. "Well for one thing..." she started, pulling a coin from her pocket and flipping it with her thumb, "It's stupid to go out to sea on your own in the first place. And for another, once the sea calls to ya, ya can't ignore it's bekoning for long. Some men have gone near mad for doing such things. From the looks of yerself, I say It's now or never." the woman smiled.
Emily was amazed. "What is she implying?" she thought. Emily looked at the other woman, who was now talking to Jack. She seemed much calmer now that Jack wasn't talking to a stranger anymore.
"Well, what do ya say, lass? Want a lesson in sailing, don't ya?" said the Woman.
Did she want her to come to sea with her? Emily was about to burt from the exitement. "I never got your name, for starts." she said.
The woman smiled. "You can call me Ash. Nothin' else, savvy?"
Emily laughed. "Savvy."
"And who are you?"
"I'm Emily... Emily Culliford."
Ash froze. "A Culliford, you say? That's interesting. No doubt related to Robert Culliford? Owner of the rum company, perhaps?"
Emily nodded. "Aye. That would be me."
Ash ganced at Emily, then at the floor. "that's interesting..." Then Ash looked at Jack and at the bottle of Culliford rum in his hand. "That's very interesting..."

Lucky kept to the back of the discussion. Normally she would have been right in there talking non-stop, especially seeing as it was Jack. some how he and bootstrap always somehow made her more chatter-boxy and reckless (as if she wasnt already too much of a toruble magnet). but someone really had to look out for othr pirates and under cover kigs men. she looked over the dressed young woman critically as she did so.
she was slim, lithe, and beautiful. she somehow was severely reminded of her half sister Rose. Lucky remembered vividly that Rose held herself like that, proud, poised and ready for anything. yet while Rose was still homely and made for taking care of homes, this girl, Emily, lukd ready for a life of danger and adventure. a girl after lucky's own heart.
she wandered breifly why, even if she had almost been captured into davey jones's locker as a child, she still resisted the call of the sea. lucky could never imagin living like that. the sea was her soul sistr, she was only whole wen she was home- on the sea.
looking round again she saw the pub livening up again. a brawl would break out soon and then theyd b safe. she looked at jack. he hadnt aged much. he was at least five years older than herself but he didn't look older than thirty. the years had been good to good ol jack sparrow. but their was an air of expiriance round him that made lucky wander wat had really happend in the yrs they had been separated.
she looked round again, and noticed a group of cloaked males seemed to be edging towards them. lucky looked away quickly, people had taken notice of them.
"guys we shud ge'," she murmered softly, "begging ur pardon, my lady," she added, realising emily's relation to the natorious pirate, almost as bad as her own father, she winked at the girl to show she was simply playing with her, "bu' hones' we gonna b caugh' up in some serious crap if we don' ge' a move on."
"whats your hurry?" said a smooth voice from just behind Lucky, so close she could almost feel his breath on her neck, she stiffened. it was so weird hearing such a well spoken tone, "the party's just getting started."
Lucky looked at Ash and Jack, a smirk covering her face. she didnt want 2 attract trouble, she knew it wud mean leaving very soon. but it was always good to go with a gang. her hand slipped to her flat dagger at her hip as her smirk grew and her comrades caught on.

Ash could feel the excitement bubbling up. If this Emily had resisted the call for this long, there was no more keeping her. And with Jack around that had always meant the pearl was nearby. The sea had its hand on Ash, and she needed to re-answer her own call before too long.
"guys we shud ge'," Lucky murmered softly, "begging ur pardon, my lady," she added, "bu' hones' we gonna b caugh' up in some serious crap if we don' ge' a move on."
Lucky turned around, and realised one of the figures was already on top of her.
Ash chuckled under her breath, "Too 'ate, my friend."
Seeing how Lucky wanted to take things, Ash always got her adrineline(sp?) rush before a swordfight. And she always found it amusing that Jack seemed to move twice as fast when Lucky was in danger. With a very practiced ease, Ash's had slid into her sleeve, where her dagger was found as her other arm reached for the dagger about her waist.

Emily looked around at the figures standing around the table. She recognized them to be Naval Sailors and from the looks of their expressions, they wanted something... or someone. She turned towards Ash, not taking her eyes of the men and asked her. "What's the plan, eh? Are they after you?" Ash breifly shot Emily a "No sh*t" expression, and then Emily, relizing the stupidity of her question, smacked her forehead. This was port royal. They didn't take very keenly to pirate activity here. Emily thought to herself. "If only there was a way we could..." Then it hit her. She looked at her cart outside the window, and then looked at the kitchen. Then she remembered that there was a back door inside the kitchen that led outside to the back of the pub. If she could somehow escort her newfound friends to the kitchen, she could most likely convince Franscois to cover for them while they made their getaway. But how? Scanning the room once more, Emily took note that there were just two guards standing between them and the kitchen's enterance. She leaned in to Ash, and whispered: "Follow my lead."
Emily carefully manuvered through the crowd, but appeared casual, for she knew the guards weren't after her... yet. She stepped into the kitchen, and grabbed the lantern that hung above the counter. She hurried back into the pub, only to find that the soilders had moved closer to the table where her friends sat. Emily could see Ash there, hand on dagger, ready to fight if neseccary. Ash looked at her as if to inquire as to her plan of attack. Emily gave her a sly grin, and the moved closer to the door where her cart was parked outside. She had already untied her horse from the cart, and he was off grazing in a patch of grass nearby. She took one last look at the cart, filled with rum and whiskeys that she had not yet loaded into the pub. She sighed, thinking about how much work she put into preparing them, then smiled and muttered under her breath, "Ah, what the hell?" She hurled the lantern at the cart and ducked low behind the wall. A firey explosion raptured outside of the pub a few seconds later and bits of glass, fire and splintered wood flew at her from all directions. The soilders, startled by the blast, dropped to the floor, as planned.
"NOW ASH! JACK! LUCKY! LET'S GO!" she cried, motioning towards the kitchen. The three of them bolted from the table, and ran into the kitchen, through the back door and away from the pub. Emily called her horse, and told Jack, Lucky and Ash to get on.
"You guys use Bart to run far away from here. Stay away untill the ruckus clears up around here and the port settles down again." Ash yelled down at her from atop Bart, "Wha' about yerself, lass?!"
"They don't know I'm with you yet. I'll be fine. When the port settles down again, come find me at the brewery. I'll be waiting there for you. NOW GO!"
Ash nodded, then kicked Bart and galloped off into the woods. Emily saw Lucky salute her, and Jack bowed slightly, still a bit tipsy, and staying on the horse appeared quite a task for him. When they were at last out of sight, Emily slowly made her way back to the pub. She saw the soilders trying to douse the fire outside before the pub caught flame as well. She smiled, and entered the kitcken. She sat down on a stool, and let out a deep sigh. Then she felt a hand on her shoulder. She spun around, and Francois was standing behind her with a solem look on his face.
"Swa, I can explain.." she started, but Francois put his hand up. "Nay, I understand alreadee, moi cheree. You did fhat you had to do. Zere ees nothing to forgive." He smiled at her. "I knew zat ze sea fould call you to eet's waters eventually. Now eet ees ze time to answer." She nodded, and he turned to leave, but then paused in the doorway.
"Oh, Emily... " he started. "Say hello to your uncle for moi, oui?"
She smiled, and bowed. Francois laughed, and left the pub. Emily sat there and looked at the fire outside, now almost out. She then looked back at the wilderness where her new friends had made their escape. She smiled thought to herself, "It's gonna be a long walk back."

Name: Ky Greenberg Age: 10 Status: Pirate-wannabe Appearance: Personality: Ky may appear cute on the outside, but in reality he's pretty much the worst brat on the face of the planet! He likes to pull pranks, steal, throw talcum powder bombs and basically just mess with people. History: His parents were both pirates, and at one point, he was a pirate himself. Until the ship, The Firecracker, got bombed and sank to the bottom of the ocean. Ky was the only survivor. ~ Ky Greenberg growled in frustration as he struck the pair of stolen keys together next to a pile of sticks and dry leaves. Once again, it made a spark, but it didn't catch. "Dammit!" he shouted, throwing the keys in the bushes in a fit of rage. His pride refused to let him go back and look for the keys, but the clenching pain in the pit of his empty stomach won the war. As he reached down and looked through the bushes, he heard rustling leaves on the other side of the clearing. He figured it must have been a big animal, but it was heading in his direction. FAST. He was about to make a run for it, but when the figures emerged, he realized that it wasn't an animal, but four very bewildered pirates.

"her i like," said Lucky, as their galloping slowed dwn, "shes a goodun."
"aye, that she is," said ash happily, "think she'll come wi' us nxt soon?"
"deffinetly," grinned Lucky, "shes pu' a stop to 'er goin inter the sea fer aaaages." she glanced at Jack, who was tryin hard to stay put on the horse. "so jack, my love," she said 'jokingly, "wat thee 'ell 'ave u bin up 2 these pas' few years? wi' ou' yer girlies?"
he just looked slightly off the right.
"im the 1 in the middle, sweetheart," she sighed.
"o rite luv." he said and mixed her with a drunken look, "well... u see... there was this thing with barbossa... killd 'im... rescued a girl... had a run in with davey jones... made friends with will again... had 2 rescue his lady love... lucky frownd at him, he was lying. "sounds like fun." she sounded somewhat stiff.
"wat about u, sweetheart," he asked, sounding a cross between nervous and curious, "hw have u guys been?"
Lucky shook her head. it had been yrs since they had met and he had only given her in synopsis of his life since they had been apart. she was in no mood to talk all of a sudden. "catch up wi' me- i'll b at camp," she glanced at ash for comfort, and sped off on her stolen steed.

(yeah, you be Jack Should we bring Bill back to life or something for Ash? I think it'd be fun, but I'm a hopeless romantic. Thats also why I'm asking first. Hey, Tash, our 3 pirates were on a horse, so it was a large animal. just an fyi. Actually, now, its just Lucky with Ash and Jack walking behind) Ash rolled her eyes, "Nice job, Jack. You know how she is, even when you're drunk." Now they they were out of the pub, Ash was talking normal again. With Lucky run on ahead toward their usual camp spot here at Port Royal, it would possibly give her time to cool off. Ash just had to get jack to the camp, and asleep. he would have a spiltting headache in the morning, but they might get more out of him then. "Okay, Jack, more than just those few sentences had to have happened over those few YEARS. Give me a bit more detail, hun." Ash told Jack, grabbing his wrist so he would folow her and not get lost on the way to camp. "Ai'ght, love." jack responded, slowly, with a hiccup, "Well, I think, 'retty sure actually, that I, erm we-" "We?" "Oh, right. Will and I cut off the Aztec curse Barbossa put on 'emself right after you girls left. Rescued Elizabeth, who iz Will's girl. And then the rest of it happened. Oh, saw Bill." jack stumbled a few times, but Ash'd firm grip on his wrist kept him from toppling, or veering too far off of their track. "Bill? Isn't he... dead?" Ash ventured, it was always hard to say his name and dead in the same sentence. "Yeah, got 'imself killed, he did. But he signed 'imself away to Davey Jones. 'At's how I saw 'im." Jack replied. "Really? Davey Jones, eh?" Ash's mind was digging through all that she had heard of Davey Jones, trying to remember one piece...

"Who are you?" Ky demanded.
He examined Lucky from head to foot with a flicker of his eyes.
"You don't look like you're from around here. Is the village missing an idiot?" he cackled.
