I've never cried for a book (even though I almost cried for the ending of the sixth harry potter book...)

I admit proudly that I cried at the end of HP6 ;D *coughtearsofjoycough*...Joking, just joking. I am about to begin reading either 'The Outstretched Shadow' by Mercedes Lackey, 'The Icewind Dale Trilogy' by R.A. Salvatore, or 'The Mists of Avalon' by Marion Zimmer Bradley. Can't decide

I tend not to cry for books. I think the only fiction book that's made me cry was The Outsiders (I cried when that character died). I cry enough for real life stuff to make up for it. Plus I cry a bucketload of tears every time I read Chicken Soup for the Soul or similar real life books. *nods* At the moment I'm reading a couple different Chicken Soup for the Soul books (ok, so I LIKE crying! Tehee), The Two Towers, number 5 in The Adventures of the Northwoods series, and...I think that's all. *nods again* (Post edited slightly; wouldn't want to spoil the ending of the Outsiders for somebody, would we? ) (Nope--sorry 'bout that!)

Just read THE PROPHET by Kahlil Gibran (a Lebanese man coincidentally). It's weird, I never cry for real stories, only fantasy. There's something seriously wrong with that.

Oh I cried in the ninth The Saga of Darren Shan book, when Mr. Shan did that really, really cruel chapter which made everything seem like it was gonna be alright. And then he said, 'but it didn't happen like that'. I've never had a bigger transition in reading a book in my whole life. I went from being elated and amazed to being a furious, distraught mess in the period of a few seconds. It was just awful when... sob... it happened- *breaks off and goes to cry on bed* But I loved him for it to. It was a spellbinding ending for the guy. Magical.

The Rule of Four by Ian Caldwell and Dustin Thomason. Really good book!

I like chicken soup, it is so sad!! I'm reading great expectations now. Blech. I had to perform that once on stage, I played Young Herbert by the way. It's o.k. I guess, but it didn't really capture my imagination.
