yuhuh philosophy is really good. the course i'm doing teach's us two set texts one about Plato and his idea on the ideal society, and in the other we discuss Descartes and his 'Discourse on method and meditations'. then we move onto moral philosophy, and philosophy in relgion such as creationism, arg's for and against, the problem of evil, to name some stuff. it is really worth taking. politics as is prety good actualy, you realise just how flawed are system really is, and next year its about ideals, so we discuss facists, socialists, and the ideas behind the current parties.

Yeh what you do in RE is like basics for it, and philosophy expands upon differet philosopher takes on the arguments and discuss their own versions.
Basicly communism is like a higer stage of socialism. In any political model communism always follows on from socialiam. Socialism is a liberal ideal. Everybody has some say in how the econimy works. More people have say in how government works. They saw it as 'Democaracy is the road to socialism' Communism is more conservative. Fewer people (preferably the Party Secretary) have a say in how the economy works. Fewer people (namely the Party Figurehead alone) has a say in how government works.
Also the communist praised the Soviet Union, where as Socialists denounce in varying degrees. For the Communists, the Soviet Union merits the applause of all true believers in socialism because it has transformed the socialist dream into a reality. However for the Socialists, the Soviet Union deserves only condemnation because it has not built socialism at all, at least the one most socialists dreamed.
Just hope i can remember all that for me AS exam next week. Philosophy is really worth taking, at least i think so.

Bonjour, je m'appelle Ash, un . . . Co-Admin. Oh, I give up . . . *buggers off* *comes back* AJs been trying to make me take Philosophy. Depends what I get in everything else, lol. You and your stupid Philosphy. I can't even take philosophy. The only subjects even remotely similar are psycology, sociology and RE. Minus, the holy one the other two are only available at AS anyway, so rather useless. Anyway, hello Oli. I'm Steven *waves* but you can call me Erik. Why? Ask Ash It's a POTO reference, and if you don't yet know what that stands for I'm sure she'll fill you in. I used to know an Oli once. He taught me drama and then was on crappy Children's TV. And no Ash, I suppose I can't talk about crappy Children's TV.

Drama's great. Well, for me that's an understatement. ;D. Now I can only assume that you live in teh UK otherwise taking GCSE's and A levels would seem a bit redundant, SO that would leave me to believe taht you are quite aware of the BBC. Actually lets face it, it would be extremely difficult not to be aware of the BBC so that suddenly sounds rather errr, for want of a better word, thick. Anywhooo, I won't bother going on about it. www.bbc.co.uk/cbbc/mihigh/profiles/index3.shtmlI'm the third one across, the geeky one with the reallyu creepy look, which kinda scares me. Umm, so yes. Anyway, TV work is great, funnest few weeks of my life. And yes, Ash, I shouldn't even mention it but meh, I haven't annoyed anyone with it for at least a few months. That reminds me, I should really change my Avatar and Sig. . .

Thanks, i'l try not to think too hard.
Sadly don't do drama at my school, but i do enough of it outside of school so it's ok, and again am sort of a muscian, guitar and vocals, but your right they can be annoying and at times a lil up themselves.
