The one day of the year where English people can be patriotic without being called racist! Lolage! Seriously though, Happy St George's Day. ;D

Aw, that sucks. Mine's hanging out of the window now. Although my smaller flag that clips on to my mum's car window broke.

I only had the one, which we bought for the World Cup before that. So it was old anyway.

Same - you'd think he was English. He was just executed here, lol. Well, he did other stuff here too, but dying is a prett big thing.

What are you confused about? Who he was, or the day itself?

Ok at the risk of sounding errr, well shall we say not politically correct, I always find it interesting how people celebrate St. Patricks day like (Well I was gonna say like a religion, but then, to an extend it sort of is but you get the point) *cough* a religion and St. George's day passes by without a second thought. My school has so many events for the Irish feast day but I actually failed to notice it was St. Georges day until late in the evening, which by my standards is pretty bad. It's true that there are certain ominous nuances associated with St George's Cross, which really sort of annoys me. You only have to look around to see the Union Flag in its place. There's no similar stigma with other nations, not even Scotland, Wales or N. Ireland have any such qualms. The government admittedly have tried to combat that in recent months but gahhh, alright all form of intelligable argument has now left me. . .
