I absolutley adore this book. I read it in June of 2005 and couldn't put it down - I had to drag myself away from my room where I was reading it to do group activities (I read it on a school holiday to Knapp House in Devon - outdoorness. I was stuck in a room with people that I didn't particularly like, so all I could do was do the activities, eat, read and sleep.) I also like Angels and Demons by Dan Brown, the author, too. I've not read his other books yet.
Anyway, who else has read it? Surely a lot of you!

It was very good for suspence. Altogether I thought it was just okay, but I know what you mean about not being able to put it down. It wasn't so good the second time--I had to read it for school.

That's the element of it I adore, the part where you should put it down, but if you do, you'll only pick it back up because you wanna know what happens.

Oh no, the movie wasn't nearly as good. I still enjoyed it though. It kept pretty close to the book until the end.

I'm re-reading the book. Then I'm FINALLY gonna start reading Soul Eater by Michelle Paver, though I bought it months ago.
Anyway, on topic - this book got blown waaaaaaaaay out of proportion . . .

It's part of a series of books called 'The Chronicle of Ancient Darkness' by Michelle Paver. It's set like 50,000 years ago when people lived in forests and stuff, but it's quite supernatural as well. It's cool.

I finally finished this book. Personally, I thought the ending was a slight let-down.

Angels and Demons was good. So I always ask people, is the Da Vinci Code just like it? Except offensive to Christians? Or something.
