Lol, I remember being a terrified little freshman. . . Lol, we've barely got the music written (I still have yet to recieve it in the mail, and we're starting sectionals in a week ), so we haven't got many concepts for the actual show yet. . . Man, our show sounds so lame. . .

Well, we finally got our music, and we started sectionals this week; I am really scared for this year. There are two freshman flutes and one junior who hasn't played since middle school. The junior can't remember very many notes and can barely read music anymore, and the freshmen seem pretty hopeless. I've worked with them individually, and I'd just tell them to play it as as slow as they need and as many times as they need, but when they work up the eighth note runs, they can never seem to be able to incorporate it in with the whole notes (you'll know what I mean when I scan my music). I won't even start on the marching. I'm putting on a patient face, though, of course. Lol, my gatorade is blue. And I've got nine pairs of sunglasses and two bottles of sunblock. I'm set. ;D
