Please excuse the title, it has no intended reference to the tv show The following is totally random: I realize that i never really properly introduced myself. Well lets see, i joined the guild roughly 2 years ago. back then i was a more dedicated writer than i am now. Im so sorry for neglecting the purpose of this board but the only writing i seem to do nowadays is for school. I am pretty sure all of you know that im a big music fan. Electronica at that, be it trance, progressive, ambient, house, etc. it doesnt make much difference. my biggest musical accomplishment to date is my future release on itunes on New Years Day (i said Dec 1 but it was delayed). Im learning how to DJ now just yesterday i went to a guitar place that sells DJ equip as well and fell in love with a 5 channel mixer (only for $99 too!!!!!! ). I love to meet new people. Im shy at first but i warm up quickly. Im the guy who would sit by himself and hope that someone will come over and talk to me. However i find the internet makes it a lot easier to warm up to people. Im currently in university, studying pre engineering. Im not 100 percent certain if thats my aim in life tho. I want to visit europe someday (anyone know good places?). I also hope to be doing DJ tours in europe when im older. I am a Christian. Catholic to be more specific. I believe in what i believe and if im the last christian to walk this world, i will not waver. I love prison break and 24. Thats me

Too bad you weren't talking about the TV show, 'cause I love those guys. Especially Ed.
I'd say welcome, but apparently you're an older member than I am, so ... perhaps hello would be better under the circumstances.
Hello. I look forward to reading your stories in future. What kinds of stories do you like to write, anyway?
P.S. Prison Break got so crappy this season, so I quit watching. Hell, all Fox's new shows are crappy, and the only ones I do watch now are House, American Idol, and the sunday comedy block. I'd love to watch 24, hearing what I have about it, but I've never seen it before, and I don't know if I could catch up to everything that's gone on so far unless I saw it from the beginning. That's the same reason why Lost is lost to me now.

John: come on, man. i clearly stated that i will hold to my beliefs, you dont have to try to convince me. i am happy to believe that there is something good ahead of me after my death.

Mr. Dreamer, in answer to your run-on sentence question, yes, I can. And yet, I don't think I will, because I very much enjoy causing people of faith chagrin.

Well, this is not the place to do so. This is a writing forum.
PS. John, I'm a girl.

This is a forum that has a writing focus. Arguments are commonplace. And so is criticisim. Both of which I indulge. And as for your gender, it matters to me roughly as much as whether a nonexistent god is male or female.

When does anyone BOTHER to read the rules? Now, if you 'care' to spare half a minute of your time, and actually READ the rules, you'll find that what DD said is completely correct. ywg2.proboards80.com/index.cgi?board=welcome&action=display&thread=1152750005READ number 14, this debate has gone on for longer than several posts. And I believe that you haven't received consent from Ed to spam up his board with a religious argument. FOR THE LAST TIME! Go to the debate board!

I recently felt the need to create a new site rule, so please keep it in mind from now on:
"14.) Keep serious debates on the Debate Board. It's as easy as requesting a thread about your topic from Denithar or Gil Alexander, so there's no excuse to let a debate anywhere else on the guild last more than two or three posts (which should be deleted after the official thread has been created)."
Please take this to the religion thread of the Debate Board if you wish to continue it. Feel free to copy and paste your posts there, and then myself or another staffmember will delete these.
