I once looked up all the laws about this sort of thing to see what was legal and what was not (it's been ages so I've forgotten much of it), so perhaps someone should try to find that and post it here for reference purposes.

I appreciate your effort John. But it won't be me debating you for a while. Finals are coming up and I have several big music performances with my band and choir. I shall merely mod the debates for a month or so.

I found the different views concerning the illegally downloading of music fascinating. The majority of you seemed to follow the Jack Sparrow guideline which is something like "The only rules that matter are what a man can do and what a man can't do". You don't really care if it's morally wrong, only if you're going to get caught. And I'm not accusing you, because I've burned CD's.
