Does anyone else here watch anime movies? Lately I've been getting really into Studio Ghibli films from Miyazaki. I saw 'Spirited Away' years ago and was blown away, and in the past weeks I've re-watched that, plus:
Howl's Moving Castle Kiki's Delivery Service Porco Rosso The Castle of Cagliostro Whisper of the Heart The Cat Returns
Anyone else seen these or other anime movies?

I grew up with Kiki's Delivery Service, and Howl's Moving Castle is one of my favorite movies. Spirited Away was just weird though.

You don't like it? I thought the weirdness was what made it great, especially the old woman who's name currently escapes me.

I liked it alright, and it creeped me out in places, but I didn't get it.

Most of it. We'll have to watch it together sometime. ;D

Hmmm, I think Gil is trying to tell us something . . . You are perfectly welcome to watch it with us, Gil. I reckon you'd like it. ;D

Munch munch. ;D Did you prefer Kiki's Delivery Service to Spirited Away, Angie?

Yeah, mostly because I understood the story more, and because I grew up with it. ^_^

I've only got into these sort of things in the past year, and I've only seen most of those films in the past few months. Definately prefer the movies to watching anime series like Naruto.

They are quite different, so it all depends on your taste. I prefer the movies usually, but I like certain series. I actually like Naruto. Although, whatever you do, do NOT watch the Naruto movies. Just don't do it.
My favorite is Inuyasha, and Chad likes Bleach and Gungrave. *nods*

Full Metal Alchemist does it for me, as does Kenshin. *nods* But other than that, I go movie-land.
