This is a poem I wrote about a year ago, but got it published in a book Please comment on it The doll, her shiny porcelain cheeks, Her golden curls that cascaded down her waist. The sparkling blue eyes that really blinked, The red velvet dress with the silk ribbons. Her miniature shoes, with the silver buckles, The lacy white petticoat, with every last detail. Now she sits in the corner, Gathering dust, dirt, and ugliness. Losing her once appealing appearence, Now a lost and forgotton toy. Copyright Emily Wall 05

This has a neat concept. Awesome imagery. I didn't like the word 'really' at first in the second stanza, but when I read the ending, it fits together.
