Inspired by the vision of Isiah, who saw angels worshipping and described them with three sets of wings, one each covering the feet, the body, and the head. So maybe they don’t flap, per se. Hmm. In my quickly thinking about our perception of spirtual beings, this poem appeared.
they draw us in thin lines with wings clipped, amputated they draw our enemies as just as physical. no disdain do we desire but this set of wings, only one, will not hold us nor block those swords which, atomless, desire strikes upon our tawny bodies.
for angels flap in triplicate and demons eat the succulent brain-waves.

Well.
I like the whole concept behind the poem. The basis of it. But I just was really lost. It seemed mechanical to me. And I dont really see the relation to the three wings... and demons eating brain-waves.
Its interesting. Maybe i've just neve seen anything like it.
