Note: I realize that this isn't really the correct spot for this poll, but lately most activity seems to stem from here, so I put this important question in the most active, other than "anything else", board.

That you are. And I greatly appreciate it. I too consider the most important aspect to be the "destroying" of writing in the cause of bettering it. But if someone wants encouragement instead of advice, that is perfectly fine, they just need to clearly state this.

I agree. Which is why I try to encourage everyone, not just John, to note something positive about the poem as well as what could be improved. These are the basic credentials for critiquing a poem/play/song/story of any kind. People who just go in and post... WOW COOL! are not helping and are making themselves look like fools. So please note that if you are going to post a reply to a poem, make sure you follow those guidlines.
