This is my stab at writting a Shakespearian Sonnet. You can tell it is writtin in sonnet by the syabal markings and the "abab" and quatrains, and so forth. It took me a few hours of work to get it just right, so I hope you like it.
True love withstands all pain and concurs fate,
Though the endless painful tears cascade,
They’ll never disturb our one single trait,
Nor other fare maidens or dismal shade.
And in my palace walls you quietly lie
More often then most had ever to choose
More then the wonderus stars in the sky
Love is something I will try not to lose
Could I have chose such a lovelyestate?
Or am I stuck in my own line of dreams?
Or is it forever and truly to late
To ask her of her lovey eyes a gleam?
But this maiden shall continue to die
For its to hardto tell her of my lies…
here is a key to how to read the little added things. Kinda get a lesson in Sonnet writting ^^...
KEY:
Slashes seperates each foot - 2 syables per a foot
matching clolors mean rhyming words - every other last word needs to rhyme, hence the A,B,A,B, ext... setup
bold letters are rhyme sceme (a,b,a,b,c,d,c,d...)
bold heading are the differnt Quatrains or sections, each one has 4 lines with 5 feet per a line. there are 3 Quatrains and one cuplet, which are two lines, both ending words need to rhyme.
( NOTE: If you want to know more deatil into sonnet writting, and completely dont understand a word of this, you can PM me, or google it )
