Diary format. Short entries. Begins when I was around 12 and just before she introduced herself to me. Sorry this is so short right now; I wanted to post it right away. Also, please note that she's not going to be as random and dangerous as usual because this just focuses on her diary entries that pertain to writing and "that silly girl I'm stuck with". Of course there will be hints of the basement and whatnot.

(Sometime around the year 2001.)
Dear Diary,
The girl finally got an idea in her head to write something. I think she might be thinking about being a writer someday. But her work isn't very promising yet. She's written one chapter as of yet, and there's a lot of work to go. She doesn't even know how it's going to end yet, and what she's got so far is very insubstantial and crude at best. She's going to have to make some more progress and be able to stand on her own before I can help her. After all, I can't be expected to do everything!
I suppose it will be a few more years of lazing around in the dark and unexplored recesses of her mind while eating bonbons and playing cards with the Boogeyman underwater.
Bored out of my mind,

(About a half year to a year later.)
Dear Diary,
She's started another story (after two or three failed ones), and I think she's taking it pretty seriously. And the idea is way out there; I like it. I might just come out pretty soon. But we'll see how it goes. She's been writing in her spare time in class, and she does it every chance she gets. I think she's going to pour a little bit of herself into this one; she's almost ready for me. Almost.

Dear Diary,
That bobbleheaded girl FINISHED a story. Yes, that's right, she FINISHED it. Sure, it's only three chapters, and it's FAR from perfect, but it's DONE!
I think it's time for me to come out. She is finally ready to wield my awesome powers. I feel I should make lightsaber sounds and do the Fairly Oddparents fairy introduction at once! But that might scare her a little. . . Awe, who cares?

Dear King Arthur,
I walked into the daylight part of the girl's mind. She saw me and accidentally tossed me out into the open where she was. Just because I look different, and I came out of her head, and I know everything about her, that does NOT give her the right to scream and throw a TELEPHONE at me! Then she started running around in a panic, and I couldn't get her to shut up or sit down until she ran into a BRICK WALL! And once she regained consciousness again, she freaked out again! That girl really needs to learn how to take things as they come.
She was later mysteriously locked in her cellar for two days. And she doesn't even HAVE a cellar. Wonder how THAT one was managed. . .
Rolling my eyes at Her,

(Very soon after the previous entry.)
Dear Diary,
It's a good thing I stepped in when I did; this girl has absolutely no inspiration! It turns out that the story she finished was just a compilation of a bunch of bad dreams she's had before, and the next story she's going to write is (in my opinion; she doesn't realize it) a mix of all the fanfiction in every category she's ever seen! Oy!
There's a lot of work here to do.
Frustrated at that girl,

(March of 2004.)
Dear Diary,
The girl joined a forum today. It's kind of big, but I think she likes it. People there are friendly, and other than making friends, she can post her (our) stuff to get opinions. But that thought does scare her a little, of course.
The people there are just my cup of tea. But She thinks they're a little strange. Forget her; we're staying.
Happy with a choice She made for once,

(A few months after joining the guild.)
Dear Diary,
You play a FEW innocent pranks on a couple of innocent guildians, and BAM! Your charge locks you in a cage in the basement.
I actually kind of like it down here. Dark and damp. And full of weapons, old muses, discarded ideas, a few bones, bewitched pens, forgotten evil villians. . . I could make this work.
Now all I have to do is figure out how to get out of this cage. . .
Plotting and planning revenge on Her,

(After being in the guild for about six months.)
Dear Kitty,
I got out of my cage today. It's pretty easy; I can just crawl through the bars if I transform into a small animal!
Anyway, today was really fun. I ran all around the guild wreaking havoc and framing Her for it. She's getting quite the reputation in this place because of me!
But that's not to say I don't have my own reputation. She's started to catch on to the fact that I might just be slightly mischievous, so she's warned everybody about me. Party pooper.
Oh well, it could be fun to be feared. Besides, I've noticed people come down here to the basement a lot less now that she's started spreading the word of my minor malevolence.

Dear Diary,
Now that She has me, she's really been itching to write something, but she just doesn't know what to write. She hates it.
I tried everything; I reminded her of her top five stories in progress, gave her a great rhyme for a poem, and made inspirational things pop up everywhere (but that actually seemed to make it worse). Nothing's working! She just can't write!
It's like she's got all this inspiration building up in her, and she can't find a way to let it out. I guess it's my job to help her do that, but this is really tough!
Frustrated because She is,

(Late 2004.)
Dear Diary,
She's been watching a fantasy show rather obsessively lately, and I think she's starting to spin some ideas of her own by imagining herself in their world. It's pretty raw and cliche, but it's something. It's just nice to get her writing.
Slightly relieved the girl might actually give me something to do around here in this empty bore of a place,

(Soon afterward.)
Dear Diary,
She started to plan out the rest of her story, and though it wasn't very in-depth, it was a sign that she's becoming more of a writer.
She got past two and a half chapters and quit. And I thought that story was going to be fun for her!
Disappointed in that wretchedly stupid girl,

(Early 2005.)
Dear Mia,
Her mind's been wandering a lot lately because she's been doing more reading than normal. She's even played through parts of the stories and changed them around in her head, and she's been having a lot of fun with that. It's an amateur step for a writer, but still a step indeed.
She's starting to think she's about ready to start a story, but I don't think she's up to it. But of course, she never listens to me.
Slightly proud and slightly opressed,

(Very soon afterward.)
Dear Diary,
The kids in homeroom were annoying her as much as usual, and she got fed up and started scribbling out the story prematurely. They even kind of made fun of her for writing, which motivated her to write even more.
The story's much more raw than I'd like it to be, but hey, I'm just glad SOMETHING got her motivated and inspired.
I'm just surprised she didn't write in four characters to mirror her stupid classmates. But of course, knowing her, she will at some point (if the story gets along far enough. . .).
A little surprised She actually did something,
Pumpkin Shoes
~
(The next week or so.)
Dear Diary,
She's been getting some pretty good reviews for that story after posting it on the guild (she's a couple of chapters in now), but even she can tell they're just being nice. But she seems fairly determined to finish this one because she realizes that finishing it is a step she needs to take.
Oh, and she is still in denial when her readers and I try to tell her it's very similar to Harry Potter. She's afraid she has no creativity. I'm slightly afraid of that as well, to say the truth.
