I wrote a draft of this story almost two years ago and posted it on the other YWG boards. It got pretty good reactions, so I decided to post this re-write of it. The first half is completely different and makes this an all-around better story if you ask me. It was originally titled "She Awoke." If any of you remember that and read that version, then you should read this new revision. It's much better and much closer to what I want it to be in the end. So yeah, here it is!
P.S. - It's in two posts!

“Watcher Lake”
She awoke, for the third time this week, to the tapping on the window. There was a moment before her mind cleared and she was able to recognize where she was. A few fleeting seconds and she knew that she was in her room in her parents’ lake house. She felt the solid mattress under her body and she could smell the cedar of the mock log cabin walls. Outside, the wind whipped through the trees and over the lake with a sound like a distant whistle. Peace laid over the lake like a child’s security blanket and she couldn’t figure out what had brought her out of her slumber. Then the tapping began again.
It was a slow, steady tap. Confused, the girl rose from her bed and moved to the window. She was a little skittish about looking out there, not knowing what to expect. As she reached the window, she felt her hand fight her brain to the curtain and draw it back. The blue light from a bug lamp hung just outside the window flooded the room and she found it hard to see anything beyond that. The crisp, harsh zips and zaps the lamp made as hundreds of insects flew in to feed it was disturbingly loud to her, even through the closed window. She slid the window open to get a better look around, and just as she did someone jumped up.
“Boo!” he said and slammed his hands on the window sill.
She went tumbling back landing on a shoe and losing her balance. Falling, the girl felt her ankle twist and was barely able to contain a scream of pain.
“Oh sh*t. Are you okay, Erynn?” he stammered.
“What the fuck, Jason?” she said.
“I’m sorry! I was just trying to freak you out a little bit,” he retorted.
Erynn picked up the shoe and threw it across the room at him. She smiled at the satisfying smack it made as it bounced off his face.
“Freak that, as*hole. I twisted my ankle because of that crap.”
“Dammit, that hurt!” he growled through clenched teeth.
“Good,” she mumbled. “Now it looks like I’m not coming through the window tonight. I’ll just have to sneak out through the front door.”
“You mean you’re still coming out?”
“Yeah. I’m not a fragile little flower. I’ve walked off worse at cheer camp,” she said.
A big dumb grin covered the boy’s face when he saw her look up at him through the dark waves of hair that fell on her face. He ran his hand through his long brown hair and looked at the ground to hide the rose color that invaded his cheeks.
“Look, just hurry up, okay? I’m ready to hold you,” he said. He would never admit to Erynn that he had fallen for her. She was in this for a fling. She had made that perfectly clear.
“Oh really?” she said, a sexy little smile making its way onto her lips.
Jason’s big dumb grin was back as Erynn rose to her feet and sauntered over to the window. She took Jason’s face in her hands and kissed him hard. She pulled away but he stayed where he was with his eyes closed for a few seconds before he realized that she had broken the kiss.
“Yeah, really. Now hurry up.”
And with that he disappeared from her view. Erynn stood there for a moment just looking out over the lake. She didn’t like the longing she had heard in his voice when he said, “I’m ready to hold you.” He was falling for her, if he hadn’t fallen already. Inside, she kicked herself for having let him get so wrapped up in their nightly encounters. What was that word we learned in French? Soiree? Finding a use for her French vocabulary momentarily took her mind off the boy’s affections and she was able to turn away from the window to walk back to her bed. As she did, Erynn could swear that she saw a silhouette leave the window of Watt Cherman’s house boat. This sent chills down her spine and she remembered her second day back here at Watcher Lake and talking to Jason for the first time in a few years.
Erynn and her family had arrived late Sunday afternoon, so their vacation would begin the next day because the first day was always filled with unpacking. They were carrying stuff from their car to the cabin when she noticed him for the first time. Jason was standing on the pier behind his parents’ cabin with a fishing pole in hand. That was all he had on him other than a pained look of embarrassment. Erynn stopped midway between the car and their cabin and stared. Other than porn that she and her girlfriends had occasionally looked up on the internet this was her first glimpse of a nude male. Her gaze drifted over his body. He had developed noticeably since the last time she had seen him. His body was no longer the smooth definition-free body of a young boy, but the tight, toned body of a man. Other hitherto unknown parts of him must have developed, too, because what she saw lounging loosely between his legs could have been mistaken for the shaft of another fishing pole.
Until now Erynn had only had to worry about the pounding heat from the sun, but now she could feel her body getting hotter from within. She blushed but couldn’t tear her gaze from Jason’s body.
“Hmm. Don’t you just love the view here?” came her mother’s voice from behind her.
“Mom!” Erynn screeched, embarrassed. “I was just. Ah.”
“It’s okay baby,” her mom comforted, “I caught myself staring, too.” She was about to walk off when she added, “Don’t tell your father. You know how jealous he gets.”
Erynn didn’t know what else to say as her mom shot her a wink and walked toward the house. She found her gaze drifting back to the pier. Jason was gone. She felt her mood begin to dampen before she realized that she would just have to find a way to get his attention on her.
The next day she was out on the deck behind her cabin. Her parents had run in to town to pick up some groceries for the time they would be here and she took this as her opportunity to gain Jason’s attention. The deck was viewable from both of the adjacent cabins, but from Jason’s cabin she knew the view wasn’t blocked by railings because they had been left off to provide a better sight of the long end of the lake. Erynn decided to give Jason the same privileges he had unknowingly allowed her. In her mind this was only right, so as she stepped out onto the deck she did so in nothing but a pair of sunglasses. She positioned herself on her lounge chair so that the space that separated her cabin from Jason’s was completely unobstructed and waited for him to notice.
Erynn didn’t have to wait long. After about five minutes she saw Jason emerge from the door of his cabin. He tried not to be obvious, but she saw his quick glances in her direction. She was pleased, but she had to get him over there somehow. Shouldn’t be too hard, she thought with a smile. Erynn stood and stretched her body and as she did she knew that the sun was catching every curve just right and it had to be driving Jason mad. She was right. He wasn’t even trying to hide it now as he stared slack-jawed in her direction. Erynn smiled as she looked over her should at him and motioned for him to come over. After only a moment’s hesitation he was on his way. Erynn decided to meet him inside, so she left the door open and went in.
When Jason walked in Erynn was curled up on the couch in an oversized t-shirt watching T.V. She looked back at him when she heard him come in and motioned him over to the couch.
“What’s up?” she said. She was purposefully acting as if nothing out of the ordinary had occurred on the deck.
“Not much,” he replied, confused. They sat there in silence for a moment before he finally couldn’t take it anymore.
“What was that show on the deck all about?” It all came out in a big word vomit. Erynn looked at him quizzically.
“Well, it is only fair you know.”
“Huh?”
“You showed me yours and I showed you mine,” she winked at him.
Jason looked away out of a window.
“Oh, you saw that?” He sounded flustered.
“Yeah. Impressive, big guy,” she said and punched him in the arm.
“It was a bet. Some of the other guys told me they’d give me fifty bucks if I fished off the back pier naked,” he said, staring at the ground now.
“Well, you let them know that I appreciated the show,” she said, sliding across the couch and letting her hand fall to his crotch. “Now how about an encore?” she asked as she unzipped his pants.
After the blow job she gave him that afternoon they decided to make their visits a nightly deal when everyone was asleep. That first night was a bloody mess because it was her first time. She didn’t know it but it was his, too. They called their meetings “sexplorations” because they were supposed to be purely for pleasure and getting a feel for the opposite sex’s anatomy. The last time that first night was on the deck. When they were done and Erynn was cleaning up to go back inside she saw Watt Cherman sitting in a chair on the patio part of his house boat watching her. She decided that they would find more private places to conduct their sexcapades after that.
