If you are going to post a standard story (with paragraphs and dialogue and whatnot), please either double space the paragraphs (paragraph, enter, enter, paragraph) or use indents on all paragraphs. Yes, single lines of dialogues count as paragraphs.
If you already have stories posted on the site, please go through and edit in one of the two options I've presented you with (I personally prefer that you double space your paragraphs).
If you don't know how to post indents on proboards, check out the following thread: ywg2.proboards80.com/index.cgi?board=writerstalk&action=display&thread=1153266825
I didn't want to have to post something like this, but it's becoming a very annoying issue when I try to read stories.
If you see someone's story that is posted improperly, please politely request that they change it. If they don't, let me know so I can take care of the situation (and the person) for you with my handy dandy admin powers.

When posting a piece of writing, give it a rating in your mind like the movies do. If it should be rated R (nothing above R is allowed), give a warning in the SUBJECT that says something like the following: "RATED R FOR LANGUAGE".
If you read something that should have this warning but does not, please report it to an admin or global moderator.

Most of you already know this, but I feel a need to post this just in case. You may only create a new thread for one of the following reasons:
1.) To post a new story you wrote.
2.) To post a rewritten/heavily-revised version of an old story you wrote.
3.) To repost a story previously posted on the guild after its thread got very long and messy (meaning people would have to search around for the different chapters and authors notes).
Do not make individual threads for chapters.
