Ok, this is a fun game to play, but it requires active members to play it...
THE GAME:
The villagers are trying to figure out who's a werewolf; the werewolves are pretending to be villagers, and trying to throw suspicion on real villagers.
The seer is trying to throw suspicion on any werewolves he discovers, but without revealing himself to be the seer (because if he does, the werewolves will almost certainly kill him that night, since he's the greatest threat to werewolf national security.) Of course the seer can reveal himself at any time, if he thinks it's worthwhile to tell the other players what he's learned. Also of course, a werewolf can claim to be the seer and "reveal" anything he wants.
The only information the villagers have is what other players say -- and who dies. Accusing someone of being a werewolf is suspicious. Not accusing anyone is also suspicious. Agreeing with another player a lot is suspicious, and therefore so is pretending not to agree with another player. Never voting to kill a particular player is very suspicious for both of them -- unless it's the seer who knows that player is innocent.
you need:
- seven or more players
- two wolves
- three towns people
- One seer
- One game master
Ok, here are the instrucions in point form as they should happen
- Game Master assigns who will be what character, and PM's the players to tell them.
- The werewolve's secretly picks someone to kill (they PM each other back an forth), and PM the Game Master with their choice.
-The Game Master then Posts the name of the dead player.
- The seer PM's the game master and asks him/her the status of one player (werewolf, or villager). The Game master tells the seer the persons status
-The players then vote on who they shall burn at the stake. (discussion may occur before the vote. People can lie, mislead, or tell the truth.)
-the one with the most votes is killed. and another round is played. If the werewolves are still both alive by the second round, the game continues with another round.
-the game is over when there is either and equal number of werewolves and people or the werwolves, are dead.
NOTE: Do not tell anyone who you are, it ruins the game.
IN A GAME WITH SEVEN PLAYERS, THE FIRST TWO ROUNDS ARE SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT.
If there are only seven players, the, in the first vote only, the player who is voted to die, is "tested" to see if they are the werewolf, if they are the wolf, then they die. If the werewolf isnt chosen, then the okayer that was doesnt die, and the next night the werewolves don't kill anyone. However, if a wolf is killed, then the remaining werewolf is able to kill the next night.
It may sound kind of odd, but its fun. If anyone wants to play sign up (Just post, "I'll play," or something). For the first game, I will be the game master, until everyone learns to play.... when we have six or seven players, we will start.
We are going to make our own characters, on the request of Jayda. When we have enough players, and before we start the game, we will make up characters. Please follow this template, and play your character accordingly. This way, it is more like a story than a game.
