I'm going to really have to adjust if we don't have credits; it sounds like the school's going to really have to rule what we take and when we take it and stuff if they're going to have any sort of graduation standards at all.

well, my schooling works on a 30 credit system. Each class we pass is worth 1 credit (civics/careers are a mandatory, and they are each a half semester and a half credit, but together they add up to one) you need 30 credits to pass, and you have 8 classes a year (with the choice of spares in grade 11 or 12)
there are two semesters...yadah yadah yadah
you NEEED
4 english credits (grades 9-12) 3 math credits (grades nine through 11 then its optional) 2 science credits (grades 9 and 10, then specific feidls are optional [chemistry, biology, etc.] 1 french credit (grade 9) 1 gym credit (grade 9) 1 arts credit 1 technology credit and the rest are optional
we also need forty hours of community service to graduate

I still need some help understanding how far you guys go in school. So you can drop out at 16 and get pretty much the same job as you could with a high school diploma? And what is the school after 16 like? Is it like college? Pre-college? Just more high school? What's the benefit of it? What's the difference?
