As many of you know, this is one of my favorite books of all time. What I like is how real and multi-dimensional it is, especially for being such a simple, easy read.

I picked up "That Was Then, This Is Now" from the school library the other day. It makes references to the events in "The Outsiders", and Ponyboy is a minor character in it. It's kind of like "The Outsiders", but not nearly as good, but that's because I'm biased because I liked "The Outsiders" so much.

I almost checked out "Tex" because I've always wanted to read it because of all the hype, but then I saw that one, and it interested me more. *shrugs*

I don't know; supposedly it's one of her best books, up there with "The Outsiders". *shrugs*

My friend was reading that the other day.
I thought it looked pretty cool because it was all small and battered and mysterious-looking, but she said she was reading it for school so that's probably why. Another friend read That Was Then, This Is Now and said it was awful depressing.
Ok, don't really have much of a point here..

Lol, "That Was Then, This Is Now" was pretty depressing. "The Outsiders" at least gave me a little bit of a good feeling at the end. That other one just brings you down and down and down.
