Out of those, I would say Jurassic Park too. But my fave movie is . . . errm . . . how much time have you got for me to talk about movies? Because I can REALLY talk about movies . . .

Well, how does one find their fave movie out of so many genres? I mean, there's epic, sci-fi, rom-coms, horror, etc. How can you choose between movies that are so different? I love Lord of the Rings, while adoring The Phantom of the Opera, while at the same time find myself falling in love with Hugh Grant's bumbling fools or slick-talking bastards all over again. How do I choose when I get a high from all of them?!

These all have their moments, except Scary Movie. And of course I don't know about Halo. But I don't think that any of these would be considered truely excellent filmmaking.

Honestly, I'd have to agree with Cy. From the choices we have, Pirates yes. Its still a great film. But there are movies that far surpass these. Movies such as, Life is Beautiful, Crash, Memento, Vanilla Sky, King Kong, and many more. These are movies of great masterpeice. Movies that captivate your heart and soul and refuse to let go. Those movies, are worth that title.

I think the title of the thread was kinda inappropriate to the actual purpose and that's where my answer stems from (though).

The poll question was "whats betters". Translated into English it probably means "which is better?" So, though I agree with Eakyra, none of them are truly great movies, I think the question was which of the 5 movies was better. I'm not sure why he had the "not any of these" option though...

True. The whole thread is kinda confusing. O'well.
