All right- someone else must've seen it, it's been out for days! Without a shadow of a doubt, the most bad @$$ movie that'll be released to theatres this summer. I used to watch the cartoon when I was a kid, but I had forgotten just how awesome the whole thing was!
The special effects were amazing, the casting wasn't too bad (except for the barbie-bimbo, of course! And, unfortunately, there was double, but that's overlook-able), and even the script wasn't half as cheesy as it could've been. Sure, there were cliche parts...but seriously, the whole thing was created in like the eighties, sure there's going to be cliches and some tiny (*coughHUGEcough*) plot holes, but it didn't really matter, because the movie was simply bad@$$. Now, I haven't seen many movies recently- and maybe this is why, just so movies like Transformers can seem all that much more amazing. Man, when I went to see it, as it was a pure action movie, I wasn't expecting to CRY. I mean, I cry easily...but there were really tearjerker, genuinely sad moments.
Overall, a freakin' amazing movie. No other words to describe it, really.

I absolutely loved it too. Lol, except when during one of the most serious moments one of my friends ruined the atmosphere by saying that Optimus Prime likes other boy robots.

*gasp* Well...maybe he does, but it doesn't really matter...It should be a crime to ruin the serious moments! Which serious moment, anyways?

*gasp* Well...maybe he does, but it doesn't really matter...It should be a crime to ruin the serious moments! Which serious moment, anyways? When Bumble Bee wasn't doing so well. Lol, I recommend it! I love it. I think guys would like it a lot, actually.

haha, The only thing that I found cheesy was 'the cube' bit at the beginning. I was cracking up and all of the hardcore transformers fans were giving me death glares.

I luffed the movie tons! I saw it last friday. ;D I didn't care for the slow motion parts and I'm still wondering what happened to the robot in the desert. ;D There were a few ood parts in the fighting techniques put I loved how the robots coud change so quickly. That was .

Transformers was pretty awesome. The special effects...*drools from geeky ecstasy*. It took ILM two weeks to make two minutes (or so) of robot footage.
Indeed it had its cheesy moments and I thought the plot sounded like it was from the eighties, but the action rocked. Bumblebee was cool, but I think my favorite character was Starscream (the jet one, right?).
I was never into the show before, so can't comment on that.
