So... who's heard of Wicked? Who likes Wicked? Who listens to it once a week? Who listens to it every night before they go to bed?
Okay... so that kind of obession isn't healthy... but, seriously...
Wicked. Chat it up.
I like Defying Gravity, For Good, No Good Deed, and the Wizard and I.

My school was unbelievably obsessed with that last year.
Everyone talked about it, wore Wicked shirts, was reading it. The chorus sang 2 songs from it (For Good & Defying Gravity, I think). 8th graders would randomly burst into other songs that were obviously from it. With dancing and everything, if they were the drama club type.
It looks pretty good..

I have heard a total of one song from it (Defying Gravity) and really liked it.

There are posters for it everywhere - seeing as it's just come to London.

Yes, I don't like it- the soundtrack is far too addictive for my liking. My drama teacher is going to give me a err *cough* perfectly legal copy of the entire musical (on video) soon and then I'm sure the storyline will actually make far more sense!

If you can, read the book first. I am a HUGE fan of the book, I've read it three times and each time enjoyed it more than the last. I have not seen the musical, but I know the basic plot for it and it varies greatly from the book. Major elements are changed. But it is still very good, I just think the book is better and they shouldn't have changed it *grumble grumble* Anyway, the music is amazing and freakishly addicting. I listened to it every day until only recently. I envy you for getting the movie.

My sister read the book was didn't like it. She said you didn't feel as bad for Elphie, you just kind of disliked everyone.
