I like how you shadded the bird to make the feathers seem ruffled. Very nice. I THink you should work on its eye and beak though, the eye is boxy and has no depth to it. I always imagine birds eyes having this strange wisdom behind them and this just makes it look like its constipated. The beak seems just stuck there, but I think If you moved it slightly or added a little detail and shading it would look beautiful. Great work.
