I'm afraid the story in the memorial thread leaves some questions unanswered and isn't clear in some points.
It starts off fine, explaining that Hakue started YWG, had a few friends help make it active, and thus it grew.
But then there's a big jump in time, with an entry quoting a post about a bug, then another quote of a post with the same bug, and that's it.
You could develop the history of YWG a little more, talk about when it reached... I think it was 200 members? That's when a thread was made in celebration, I think. If you can remember any other monumental changes, those are good to include as well. And definitely mention when it upgraded to v4, since that's important later in the story.
Then, talk about Hakue. Did she start fading from the picture? Or did she just disappear? Who were her close friends whe helped YWG get active? Are they still around?
Now, with the backstory developed, talk about the bugs. But, don't just put a post in quotes. At least say "On such-and-such date I posted this message in such-and-such board." Or, even better, tell the story the way the rest is told.
I just feel a bit unsatisfied reading the story of YWG. I want to know when things started going bad, who was having problems. When did you notice Hakue wasn't around? Did the news get really old and then someone went to aske her about it but got no response? Did other people have bug problems first?
What was it like setting up a duplicate proboard? Have you ever made a proboard before? Was it difficult getting it to look the same?
Anyway, I'm sure anyone who visits here but has not known YWG would like to know this kind of stuff.
