Ice snarled, and ran out the door with Mark calling after her. the last thing she heard was Mark calling for Tom.
"oi hunter," she called, "u never heard of me? it's a shame the reds listen to me then... ever thought who actually came up with your job?"

He turned on her, "Oh, so YOU'RE the one, eh? Well, I guess that makes you one sick f***, doesn't it?"
He turned away, steaming. Toying with a victim is one thing, but this job was something else. Forcing the son to kill his parents?! Aiden shook his head in disgust.

"dont you f*cking dare!" snapped ice at him, "gttin rid of him is a good idea! you're just a bludy cow-"
next thing she knew was two strong arms wrapped round her waist pulling her bak and away from Hinter and back into the pub. she struggled against her long time friend practically screaming.
"will you calm down," muttered Tom, almost angrily, "that 1's dangerous. and you're too important to have u mess with lighting man."
"i'll kill him..." she snapped, "i'll kill him... tht was my job... i was meant to get rid of him... killing him would cripple the family... that was my job!"
"ssshhh shhh," whispered tom, "shhh. it's alrite. come out back, we'll gt a bit drunk ye?"
"sounds like a plan..."
still grumbling, Ice allowed Tom to pull her own back and into a hug. she'd just have to wait till later to have her own back.

(I'm here! Sorry, had to practice, try-outs tomorrow. Hope you feel better Ryan.)
Kia headed toward her home, the farthest from town square from any angle, compared to any house. She passed a tavern on her way back, ignoring the bickering Reds standing outside. That was somewhat usual, espically with that one girl, she fought a LOT.
Nobody knew why she wanted to stay in that house, it was so far from the protection of others, and only she and her cat lived there. She couldn't even keep up the farm it once had, or tried. She never knew how, her father has stopped when she was born and her mother died, half due to that and half due to the larger farm on the opposite end of town. They all still bought from the same market anyways. Sometimes, in the most fearful times of raids from the royal army, the town bribed her into coming closer to town, but only then. This was her home, and she wasn't about to leave.
Shadow weaved in and out of her legs as soon as they were out of sight, she was making sure her humans abilities were up and running, anything could happen at any time. Even though a dagger was hidden in her skirts, she didn;t quite feel safe enough at the moment. A feeling of forboding was over her, she wanted to get home. She needed to get home. Now.
(Pestys turn!)

Rourke couldn't quite figure out just what was going through the prince's mind. Certainly he was aware that it was a dangerous time for someone like him to be without protection. Although he was treated for the most part like a mere vagrant in the village and hardly spoke with anyone, even Rourke had heard whisperings of the plans to capture the throne's only heir. And worse still.
Perhaps he gave Trevor too much credit. The lad didn't even have the faculties to pay attention to his surroundings as he fled, his cougar at his heels. Rourke went undetected in the trees as he leapt from branch to branch using his prowess with the air element. He gripped the ax handle firmly as he willed it to let him use short bursts of gust to propel him forward for large leaps as silently as it would allow. Like some filthy, humongous flying squirrel Rourke almost glided quickly and discreetly from tree to tree, keeping a close bird's eye view on the prince some 30 yards ahead.
Rourke was alarmed when the prince suddenly veered left, and stopped. Was he hiding? Did he know he was being followed? Rourke waited, hardly daring to breathe as he struggled to discern where Trevor had gone off to.
But seconds were ticking away, and still no sign of movement ahead. What if while he waited there foolishly Trevor was forging on, and Rourke's only chance of finding peace for Archonia ran out of sight with its tail between it legs?
Rourke plunged forward, stopping in a tree paralell to where he'd lost sight of the prince. He sighed silently in relief as he saw Trevor huddled against a large oak, a fireball of sorts blazing in his hand for light or warmth or something. The cougar yawned regally and lied next to him. Trevor stared blankly at the fire, as if concentrating. A large clearing stretched out before them. 'He must gathering strength before passing through such an open space,' Rourke thought.
But where was he going?
And suddenly the cougar lifted his head and looked right at him, and Trevor in the same instant. Damn it, now he knew what Trevor had been doing: he was listening for assailants. Rourke had severly underestimated the prince.
He'd been fingered. Time for plan B.
He leapt from the tree straight at them.

Trevor had caught his assailant off guard for a second, but he wasn't about to let the person catch him, as soon as the assailant shot toward him, he threw his fireball into the enemy's face, and quickly drew his ruby dagger. The enemy didn't seem fazed by the fireball, it just seemed to flicker away, but the the dagger was a different story. The ax and the dagger met in a sharp clang, and the dagger started to hiss, as if it were heated to extreme degrees. The metal on the ax was starting to melt. the assailant then had a cougar leaping for his back. intent on flaying him alive. The assailant quickly leapt back, and again Trevor held out his ring, waved his other hand over it. And sprinted through the clearing like a blur. Almost out of sight of his attacker. (really don't know what else to post, but on the bright side, I'm going to live! hopefully in the story and in real life.)

"hey hey hey," complained Ice as Tom finished off his last tackard of the proper strong drink tht his father kept reserved, "its ME who needs 2 gt drunk u no!"
"you? yoooou jst didnt gt to kill anyone..." slurred Tom irritably.
here we go Chaandi was practically hissing in distaste, something she rarely did.
"you know saraaaaa," he complained, swereving from side to side. Ice nodded, used to his drunken rants, "she went and cheated! with tht craven moron harry!"
"riiiiight," this wasn't unusual, "ok, you know what? i'm gonna go... you stay here and dnt touch anything..."
"yes ma'am."
"good boy."
Ice left shaking her head. so much 4- 'lets gt drunk'. she was getting restless by then. she needed to do something. needed some kind of adventure. she was sick of acting like the house wife. there werent many females amoungst the reds, and those that were often got to do more than her and they knew she was capable.
she didnt know where she was going exactly, she jst followed her feet out into the forest around.
forests have adventure said Chaandi placidly, coming out from her hidin place at Ice's waist, up to round her neck.
"i hope so," stated Ice, walking into the cover of the trees.
as soon as she was far enough in, she dropped to her knees and put her hand to the ground. she closed her eyes and allowed the forest to enter her mind, it always exhausted her, but she got over it quickly. she soon got a quick scetch of evrything going on and where. soon she knew exactly where a fight was going on. the forest wasn't takin to well to it, harmin the trees and such. but Ice grinned. perfect.
but she didnt understand part of what the forest told her, about 1 of them being golden or something. she didnt understand, bt tht wasnt unusual, she was yet to understand all of what her earth element told her, even her fire element.
she set off in tht direction with Chaandi at her throat mumbling under her breath about Ice' death wishes. Ice still had gained the capability of fear yet, and it would get her killed.

(For future reference, it's just an axe handle. The blade's been broken off.)
Again Rourke found out just how much he was underestimating the prince. The boy had instinctively hurled the fireball right at him in the same second he had leapt forward. Sure, he fizzled it out instantly against sharp rush of air, but he soon found it was just a distraction tactic as Trevor unsheathed a marvellous, glimmering dagger.
It happened so quickly. Rourke swung the ax handle down like a mallet as hard as he could manage as he landed powerfully from the fall. The dagger bit into it as Trevor held it vertically over his head to block the blow. Alarms went off in Rourke's head as he smelled singed wood, and the dagger started easing through ax handle. As Rourke pulled it back to make another strike, the cougar's growl behind him startled him, and leapt at him murderously, fangs and claws bared. Rourke dived wildly left, and heard the beast whizzed just by him as he hit the ground rolling. He pushed himself to his feet with the momentum of the roll and came to a sliding stand on the dirt road as the cougar turned to redouble its efforts. Rourke realized with a start that Trevor had disappeared, and had a mere second to curse himself as he saw the silhoutte of the lad fastly becoming microscopic as it darted inconceivably swiftly across the clearing.
Before he could make a move to pursue the cougar leapt at him again, and this time its mark was true as it hurled its weight directly at Rourke's feeble chest. He toppled, and they crashed backwards into the dirt as the cougar snarled and thrust its open jaws at his face. Rourke stopped it by holding the handle lengthwise and stuck it at the animal's neck. The sharp yellowed fangs inched closer, and hot ferocious spittle and breath blasted into Rourke's face as he struggled against the cougar's daunting assault. He used the animal's strength against it, slamming a foot onto its underbelly and flipping it over his head, but as cats will do, it landed on its feet and instantly thrusted forward again. This time, Rourke was prepared for it, and as it leapt he blasted as much air as he could channel through the ax handle directly at it, and the cougar mewled as it was flung backwards, smashing into tree.
He eyed the animal warily. It made no movement, but he could see it breathing. It was probably knocked out from the blow. Rourke seized the moment and launched into an air-boosted jump, propelling himself into the limbs of nearby tree so he could scan for any sign of the prince.
No such luck. Rourke cursed again. Now what to do?

Shadows ears perked up just as Kia unlocked the door to their home. Kia eyes her cat curoously.
What did you hear, fuzzyears? she asked, tucking her key back into its hidden pocket on her side-pack.
I've told you, enough with the stupid nicknames. I heard a crash off in the forest. It was distant, which is why you didn;t hear it. But I heard it. And I have no clue what it could possibly be. Shadow replied, sitting herself down, her ears swiveling to try and detect more noises.
Well, what should we do? Inside, or out? Kia now exaggurated her motions, faking that the door was stuck on a mound of dirt.
You in, I'll stay out here. Be silent though, I need to hear. Shadow didn't move any muscle besides for her ears, her tail wasn't even twitching, it was curled around the side of her body
Kia walked inside, walking on the balls of her feet to stay agile, silent, and allow her reflexes to be able to take over at any second if need be. She didn't bother stopping to put the groceries away, just set her baslet on the counter. First things came first, and she headed to her bedroom where her treasure lay. She pulled it off of it's "decoration" space, everybody believed it was her fathers. With a practiced ease so natural she didn't even think about it, it joined her hidden dagger in the folds of her skirt, attached to her belt. Now she felt safe.
